1 ह्यानंतर मी पाहिले तो पाहा, स्वर्गात एक दरवाजा माझ्यासमोर उघडलेला दिसला आणि अगोदर जसा आवाज मी माझ्याशी बोलताना ऐकला होता तसाच आवाज मी ऐकला. तो आवाज कर्ण्याच्या आवाजासारखा होता. तो म्हणाला, “इकडे वर ये आणि मी तुला यानंतर जे घडणार आहे ते दाखवितो.” 2 त्याच क्षणी आत्म्याने माझा ताबा घेतला. तेथे स्वर्गात माझ्यासमोर राजासन होते कोणीएक त्यावर बसला होता. 3 त्यावर जो बसला होता तो यास्फे व सार्दी या रत्नांसारखा होता आणि राजासनाभोवती पाचूसारखे दिसणारे मेघधनुष्य होते. 4 राजासनाभोवती चोवीस आसने होती आणि त्या आसनांवर शुभ्र कपडे घातलेले व डोक्यावर सोन्याचा मुकुट असलेले चोवीस वडील बसले होते. 5 राजासनापासून विजा, वाणी व मेघगर्जना निघत होत्या. राजासनासमोर सात दिवे जळत होते. ते देवाचे सात आत्मे होते. 6 तसेच राजासनासमोर काचेच्या समुद्रासारखे काहीतरी दिसत होते. ते स्फटिकासारखे स्पष्ट होते. मध्यभागी व राजासनाभोवती चार जिवंत प्राणी होते आणि ते मागून पुढून डोळ्यांनी पूर्ण भरलेले होते. 7 पहिला जिवंत प्राणी सिंहासारखा होता दुसरा बैलासारखा होता तिसऱ्याचा चेहरा मनुष्यासारखा होता, आणि चौथा उडत्या गरुडासारखा होता. 8 त्या प्रत्येक जिवंत प्राण्याला सहा पंख होते व त्यांना सगळीकडे डोळे होते, त्यांच्या पंखावर आणि आतून डोळे होते, दिवस व रात्र न थांबता ते म्हणत होते. “‘पवित्र, पवित्र, पवित्र, हा प्रभू देव सर्वसमर्थ,’ जो होता, जो आहे आणि जो येणार आहे.” 9 जो राजासनावर बसलेला आहे तो अनंतकाळपर्यंत जिवंत राहणार आहे त्याचे जेव्हा जेव्हा ते चार जिवंत प्राणी गौरव, सन्मान व उपकारस्तुती करीत होते, 10 तेव्हा तेव्हा ते चोवीस वडील जो राजासनावर बसला आहे त्याच्यापुढे पालथे पडतात आणि जो युगानुयुग जिवंत आहे त्यास नमन करतात आणि आपले मुकुट राजासनासमोर ठेवून म्हणतात 11 “हे प्रभू, आमच्या देवा, तू गौरव, सन्मान आणि सामर्थ्य प्राप्त करून घेण्यास योग्य आहेस, तू सर्व गोष्टी उत्पन्न केल्यास, कारण तू सर्वकाही अस्तित्वात आणले आणि तुझ्या इच्छेमुळे ते झाले आणि उत्पन्न केले.”
