Entitlement whispers that people owe us respect, attention, appreciation. Humility says something different: we've been freely given everything through Christ's grace. That grace—past, present, future—brings us low, not with shame, but with overwhelming mercy. When we truly grasp what we've received freely, we become free to serve others the same way. The posture shifts from demanding to giving.
