The heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy. Proverbs 14:10 (KJV)

The heart knoweth its own bitterness; And a stranger doth not intermeddle with its joy.
No one has knowledge of a man's grief but himself; and a strange person has no part in his joy.
[If] a man's mind is intelligent, his soul is sorrowful; and when he rejoices, he has no fellowship with pride.
