James 2:19

Thou believest that God is one; thou doest well: the demons also believe, and shudder.

You have the belief that God is one, and you do well: the evil spirits have the same belief, shaking with fear.

You believe that God is one. Good for you! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

Thou believest that God is one. Thou doest well. The demons even believe, and tremble.

Thou believest that there is one God. Thou dost well: the devils also believe and tremble.

You believe that God is one God? That's great—but demons believe in God too, and they're scared of him!

Thou beleeuest that there is one God: thou doest well: the deuils also beleeue it, and tremble.

So you're impressed with yourselves that with your emunah you can recite the kri'at Shema, nu? O you do so well… why, even the shedim have your da'as and emunah! But they shudder!
